HootSuite Introduces Premium Plans
Following in the steps of cloud applications like Vimeo, Pandora, Salesforce, and Flickr, HootSuite will now offer more advanced tools for individuals, businesses and organizations with the announcement of new premium packages while also continuing to provide a free version for most users. Hootsuite is the popular dashboard for social media managers.
From now, all new customers signing up will have to select a package plan ranging from free to $99.99. On the other hand, all current users will have to migrate to one of the new packages as from next week.
All customers both old and new, except Enterprise customers, will however get a free 30-day trial option for the service’s Pro Plans, which offer such premium features as an ad-free, priority support, enhanced stats, and brandable URLs, social networks, and team members.
The premium plans prices range from $4.99 for Bronze, $19.99 for Silver, $49.99 for Gold and $99.99 for Platinum and these are targeted toward power users, small or medium-sized businesses, smaller agencies and others who are heavy social media users and need control and analytics for their online activity.
Enterprise Package customers will have to pay around $1,500 per month, or $2,000 per month depending on if they want to use a vanity URL shortener. This package comes with geo-segmented social network monitoring, a full-featured analytics package, Zendesk integration, “HootSuite University” training and a great deal more.
